Sopheap, 49, is married and resides with her husband and four children in Kampong Chnnang Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in animal husbandry for more than three years and is successful in her career. She is involved in breeding pigs. She earns approximately USD 3 per day. Her husband is a taxi driver who earns about USD 10 per day. All of her children are still in her care and in school. Because the present car is old, Sopheap is requesting a loan of USD1000 to purchase a new car for her husband to run the taxi service. This purchase will help her husband to attract more customers and earn more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to use the profit to expand her business and help her children get bachelor’s degrees.
