Chea, 21, is single and resides with her mother and sister in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia.
She and her sister have been working in a shoe factory for more than four years, earning approximately USD 7 per day. Chea wants to run an additional business in order to improve her family’s income. With this goal in mind, Chea is requesting a loan of USD 1,100 to purchase farmland to grow agricultural crops.
This money will help her acquire the security to start this business and generate extra income to support the family. In the future, she would like to run a tailoring shop at home to earn more income for the family. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
