Mr. Hamidou Ousmane was born around 1988 in Zegoua (at the Mali – Ivory Coast border). He is single and lives in a traditional family in Sanoubougou II, one of the working class neighborhoods of the town of Sikasso (third administrative region of the Republic of Mali).

He never had the opportunity to go far in his studies and very early on he learned the business of buying and selling mobile phones and their accessories (cases, batteries, chargers, headphones etc.…), which he has done for 10 years. He conducts his business from his own shop at the Sikasso bus terminal. His customers are mainly travelers and drivers. He is in very high demand due to the quality of his merchandise.

In order to meet the demand of his ever growing customer base, he decided, a year ago, to join the micro-finance institution Soro Yiriwaso from whom he has received three loans, all fully reimbursed.

Thus, he is requesting this new loan, which will allow him to go to Bamako to purchase 50 mobile phones of various brands, 5 boxes of cases, about 15 chargers, 25 packs of memory cards, 20 boxes of batteries, 10 dozens of various kinds of headphones, about 10 various watches and belts.

With this loan, he hopes to make a monthly profit of 350 000 Francs CFA, which he will use primarily to increase his working capital, to participate to the household expenses and to pay off his loan.
