Khoeurn, 42, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been selling fruits for more than ten years, earning approximately USD 25 per day. Her husband is involved in growing vegetables to sell. He earns about USD 5 per day. Two of her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about USD 8 per day.
Due to the difficulty in the family’s transportation, Khoeurn is requesting a loan of USD 1200 to purchase a motorbike to commute. This purchase would enable her to use the money saved from her transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to use the profit to expand her business and rebuild her present house to make it bigger and more comfortable for her family’s living condition.
