A loan of $3,750 helped a member to buy garments to sell.

Kuña Katupyry Group's story

The Kuña Katupyry communal bank, formed in the city of Caaguazú, is currently in its eleventh loan cycle. It is a group made up of modest women with a desire to get ahead. This is possible thanks to the support that Fundación Paraguaya gives them. They know they can achieve their objectives with a group commitment to working in teams, supportively and responsibly.

The president of the group is Hilaria. She works selling clothing for women, men, and children. She is married and has four children for whom she struggles every day to give a decent life.

She is requesting the loan to buy garments to stock up and be able to meet customer demand, because she has several orders that she would like to be able to fill.

In this group: Hilaria, Maria, Dora, Maria, Maria, Myrian, Nidia, Adelina, Elena, Maria, Mariela, Librada, Maria, Yenia, Pablina, Lorenza*, Magdalena*, Maria*
