The solidarity group "Dental 2" has five members who are in the business of selling clothing for women and children. They all contribute to have a loan guarantee with UIMECEC and purchase clothing wholesale. They divide up the work amongst themselves in order to resell the clothing. The leader of the group, on the far right, is a mother of three children. She set up a small cafe in front of her house and displays their products for sale. She is able to be help her husband with their home's food expenses. The group is requesting a loan of 500,000 cfa francs to purchase clothing for women and children. The group hopes to establish a stall in the village's central marketplace.

Le groupe "Dental 2" est un groupe de solidarité dont les cinq membres s'activent dans le commerce de vêtements pour femmes et enfants.Elles se cotisent pour constituer une caution afin de prendre des prets auprès de UIMECEC et acheter des marchandises en gros . Elles se partagent en fonction de leurs apports et revendent leurs marchandises en détails.Le chef de groupe , en médaillon, est mère de trois enfants. Elle a implanté une cantine devant son domicile et y expose ses produits. Elle arrive à se prendre en charge et à appuyer son mari dans les dépenses alimentaires. Le groupe sollicite un pret de 500000f pour acheter des vêtements pour femmes et enfants. Le groupe a pour ambition de s'implanter au marché central de sa localité.

This loan is administered by UIMCEC, a Kiva Field Partner in Senegal since 2008. UIMCEC is a government-regulated microfinance institution whose mission is to improve the revenue and well-being of families through access to financial services, allowing principally women and young adult micro-entrepreneurs living in rural and semi-rural areas to develop their revenue-generating businesses and supporting them in becoming financially self-sufficient.
