Roland is 40 years old. He lives in Terjola District with his family: his wife – Maya, his 17-year-old son, 15-year-old daughter, his mother (retired) and his brother. The children go to school. Roland’s brother has health problems and he receives a relevant pension from the government. Roland and Maya are leading the agricultural business of the family. They have 2 milk cows and 12 sheep. Maya produces cheese and sells it in the village. Also the family has 400 grape vines. Roland produces wine and sells it in the village. Total average monthly income of the family is 1000 GEL.
Roland requested credit for purchasing 10 -11 sheep. The expansion of the business will allow the family to sell more lambs and the income of the family will increase. Roland plans to reinvest it in the same business to expand it and make it more profitable.
