Sorm is 27 years old and a resident of Kompong Cham province. She is married and has one child who attends a local primary school. She and her husband help each other to farm their crops to generate income. Agriculture is the main source of her family’s income. Sorm grows various types of crops based on the season and the market demand.
To obtain a fruitful harvest from this project, Sorm would like to borrow some funds to buy fertilizers and pesticides to maintain good conditions for her rice crops, and also to pay for threshing service fees. This loan will enable her to have enough capital to invest in the business.
For the future business, Sorm anticipates she will own a wide farmland, renovate her house, and provide her child further education.
