Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 32-year-old Abu from Aberdeen in the western area in Freetown. He is a father with an 8-month-old child and he works very hard to support his family. For the past 10 years, Abu has run a building materials store where he sells paint, cement, nails, shovels, and pans. He works seven days a week, 11 hours a day. Abu does not have any other source of income and his major business challenge is the poor road network in his area.
Abu is requesting a 5,000,000 SLL loan through BRAC to buy more building materials such as paint, cement, nails, shovels, and pans. The extra income from his loan will allow him to increase his capital. Abu’s dream and business goal is to have a permanent structure for his store. He thanks you for your support!
