Mrs. Samrith S., 42, works as a weaver and also owns a plot of land growing rice. On average, she earns around $3 a day. Her husband works as a construction worker building houses, making about $5 a day. They have 2 children. One child works in a garment factory and the other stays at home.
She would like to loan from Kiva to purchase good rice seed and fertilizers to put on her farm and the leftover is to be used to buy a motorbike for use as transportation.
