Sarun, 64, is widowed and resides with two children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been selling vegetables for more than four years, earning approximately USD 7 per day. Her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about USD 6 per day. In order to provide hygienic living condition for her family, Sarun is requesting a loan of USD 1000 to purchase construction materials to build a new kitchen. In the future, she would like to run a tailoring shop for her children and rebuild her house as soon as possible.
