Kyakimwa is a fifty-year-old married woman with nine children, living in Kasese, Uganda. She has been in the bar business for four years. Her business hardships include price fluctuations and inflation, customers not paying on time, inadequate capital to purchase enough stock to meet the high demand, and high taxes. Her goals for her business are to hire employees to help grow the business and to expand the business into new markets. Her personal goals are to educate her children and build a permanent home. Kyakimwa has requested a loan in order to buy beer, sodas, and spirits to sell.
