Yon, 33, is married, resides with her husband and two children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been working in garment factory for more than six years, earning approximately USD 3 per day. Her husband is a palm juice vendor who earns about USD 5 per day.
In order to improve her family’s living condition, Yon is requesting a loan of USD 1200 to purchase a motorbike to carry coconut and palm juice to sell. This purchase will help her to make more profit because she can carry palm juice and coconut to sell around the local community.
In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children get bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she plans to build a new timber house as soon as possible.
