Sok Na, 52, is married and resides with her husband and one child in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in weaving for more than ten years, earning approximately USD 2 per day. Her husband is a rice farmer who earns about USD 2 per day. Sok Na is a very hardworking and hardship-bearing person.
In order to improve her family’s economy, Sok Na is requesting a loan of USD 1,200 to purchase silk threads to use in her weaving work. This money will help her produce more clothes to sell and generate more income to support the family.
In the future, she would like to expand her weaving business and help her child get a Bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it more comfortable for her family’s living.
