Hon, 40, is married, resides with her husband and four children in Kampot Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in agricultural business for over twenty years, earning approximately USD 2 per day. Her husband runs public transportation service (motor taxi). He earns about USD 4 per day. Two of her children are employed in garment factory. Approximately, they earn USD 6 per day.
Due to the difficulty in the family’s transportation, Hon is requesting a loan of USD 1500 to purchase a motorbike to commute. This purchase will help her reduce the transportation expenses. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children get bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she plans to rebuild her present house to make it bigger to provide enough space for her family’s living.
