Tho, 53, is widowed and resides with four children in Kompong Cham province, Cambodia. She has been selling grilled beef, boiled eggs and drinks for over a year, earning approximately USD 6 per day. One of her children is employed in a restaurant and earns about USD 3 per day.
In order to improve her business, Tho is requesting a loan of USD 1000 to raise capital for her business to purchase more drinks to sell. This purchase would enable her to generate more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children get bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it more comfortable for her family’s living.
