Volimata
Volimata is a 44-year-old woman who lives in Senegal. She is married and the mother of 7 children aged between 1 and 22 years. Volimata works as a vendor and also has a snack business. She sells breakfast and dinner in the area where she lives. She also sells fabrics and bags. The only reason for her choice to go into business is that she wants to help husband meet their family responsibilities. This is also why she is very interested in the profits generated by her business and therefore in satisfying her customers' needs.

Volimata has been a member of a UIMCEC branch since October 2009. She is requesting a loan of 150 000 francs to be used to buy the ingredients she needs to make the meals that she sells. Part of the loan will also be used to buy shoes and bags destined for resale. Her aim is to develop her business and increase her profits in order to be able to contribute more to improving her family's social living conditions.
Madame Volimata est femme de 44 ans qui vit au Sénégal. Elle est mariée et mère de 7 enfants dont l’âgé varie entre 1 et 22 ans. Elle s’active dans le secteur du commerce et de la petite restauration. Elle vend le petit déjeuner et le diner dans le quartier ou elle habite. Parallèlement elle commercialise des tissus et des sacs. L’unique raison du choix de son activité est qu’elle veut assister son mari face aux charges familiales. C’est aussi pourquoi elle s’intéresse beaucoup aux bénéfices que lui procure son activité et a la satisfaction des besoins de ses clients. Elle est membre d’un des guichets de l’U-IMCEC depuis octobre 2009. Elle sollicite un crédit de 150 000 frs prévu pour s’approvisionner en denrées alimentaires qui lui permettent de préparer le petit déjeuner et le dîner qu’elle commercialise. Une autre partie de l’argent servira à acheter quelques sacs et chaussures qui seront destinés a la vente. Son objectif est de développer son activité, d’accroitre ses bénéfices afin de mieux participer a l’amélioration des conditions de vie sociale de sa famille.
