Mirian is single. She is 40 years old and was born in Chaguarpamba. Chaguarpamba is a precinct that belongs to the city of Machala. She has lived there since she was born and she works in household labor. She has two children: Miriam and Ulises, both of whom are adults. She began her business through the initiative of a friend who recommended its benefits. Because she lives in a rural area she has a lot of space and with effort she acquired some chickens and began to raise them. Currently her business has prospered and she sells approximately 500 chickens per month. Her greatest concern is getting sick since the animals need care and she works alone. This is her first loan and she wants to buy more chickens in order to grow her business. Her goal is to create a small business selling agricultural products.
