Asmahou
Ms. Asmahou was born around 1985 in Sikasso. She is married and the mother of one child. She lives with her husband in a large traditional extended family in Sikasso (3rd administrative region of the Republic of Mali). After her training in tailoring, Ms. Asmahou was familiarized by her aunt to the business of buying and selling various goods: mayonnaise, candies, cookies, etc. about three years ago. She operates her business at the big market of Sikasso and door to door in the city.

Concerned about further satisfying her burgeoning customer base, she decided to join the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso about a year ago. She is now on her second individual loan. The previous loan was properly repaid.

Ms. Asmahou is requesting this second individual loan with the goal of increasing her working capital in order to buy: 4 boxes of mayonnaise, 5 packets of candies, and 5 boxes of cookies to further satisfy her ever-numerous customers. Accepting cash or credit, she sells retail to a diverse and varied customer base.

With this loan, Ms. Asmahou envisions making a monthly profit of 100,000 francs CFA that will be used to help with family expenses and to pay the interest on the loan. The rest will be invested in her business.

Madame Asmahou est née vers 1985 à Sikasso, elle est mariée et mère d’un enfant. Elle vit avec son époux dans une grande famille traditionnelle élargie à Sikasso ( troisième région administrative de la république du Mali).
Madame Asmahou après une formation en coupe et coutures s’est initiée auprès de sa tante, aux activités d’achat et de vente d’articles divers : mayonnaises, bonbons, biscuits etc depuis maintenant 3 ans. Elle mène son activité au grand marché de Sikasso et de façon ambulante dans la ville.
Dans le souci de mieux satisfaire sa clientèle de plus en plus croissante, elle décida de rejoindre l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso il y’a environ une année. Elle est à son deuxième prêt individuel, le prêt précédent a été correctement remboursé.
Elle sollicite ce deuxième prêt individuel dans le but d’augmenter son fonds de commerce afin d’acheter, 4 cartons de mayonnaises 5 paquets de bonbons et 5 cartons de biscuits pour mieux satisfaire sa clientèle de plus en plus croissante. Elle vend en détail, au comptant et à crédit à une clientèle diverse et variée.
Elle envisage réaliser avec ce prêt un bénéfice mensuel de 100 000 FCFA qui sera utilisé pour contribuer aux dépenses familiales, payer les intérêts de son prêt et investir le reste dans son activité.
