Nam is fifty-seven years old and married. She lives with her husband and two children in Ho Chi Minh City. Her husband is retired. To support her family, Nam earns an income by selling rice. She started this business twenty-two years ago.
She would like to take a loan to expand her current business. With the loan, she will buy more varieties of rice of better quality, which will enable her to attract additional customers.
Nam hopes that through the loan, her business will generate a higher income and will help her to improve her family's living condition and enable her to set aside some savings.
