Estela is forty-five years old and married. She had three years of elementary education. She has two children who are currently in school. She makes her living through commerce–specifically the sale of clothing. She started this business by her own initiative and has thirteen years of experience to date. She has the support of her spouse, who supports her economically.
She will use the loan she is requesting to buy merchandise in order to improve her sales. She wants to buy sneakers, blouses, sweaters, undergarments, etc. In the future she hopes to have a prosperous business.
La señora es casada tiene 45 años de edad, cursó los 3 años de educación primaria, tiene 2 hijos los cuales están estudiando, se dedica al comercio a la venta de ropa, inició este negocio por iniciativa propia y hasta el momento lleva 13 años de experiencia, cuenta con el apoyo de su esposo quien la apoya económicamente.
Solicita un préstamo que lo utilizara para la compra de mercadería y así mejorar su ventas, ella quiere comprar playeras, camisa, sueteres, ropa intima, etc. En el futuro espera tener un negocio prospero.

ASDIR (Asociación de Desarrollo Integral Rural - Association for the Development of Rural Communities) is a community-based organization that works to promote development in the villages and communities where it serves. It was founded in 1999 in the village of Nimasac, Totonicapán Department, by a handful of local men and women to support community projects and group loans. Today ASDIR has 5 offices across 3 departments (Totonicapán, Sololá and Suchitepéquez) serving more than 6,000 clients, most of them in rural communities.
