Gladys Amparo
Gladys is a very enterprising, enthusiastic young woman. She’s a single mother who raises her 9 year old son who she loves very much and is her reason for living and moving forward. Her house is located in the city of Nazca, a city noted for having one of our country’s most important tourist attractions, the Nazca Lines, which are huge drawings in the middle of an extensive field of arid land which according to some studies were used as a type of calendar by the Nazca people. This city is also noted for the kindness and generosity of its inhabitants. When she has free time, Gladys likes to watch television, especially the novelas [drama serials] and she also likes to enjoy one of her favorite dishes which is the very delicious “Arroz con Pollo.”

With much effort and savings, Gladys started her business selling women’s footwear. She spends about 12 hours per day at work and can see up to 12 customers daily. She believes that she does well in business because she’s responsible and constant in her work.

Gladys is very grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to the help they’ve given her she will be able to buy winter footwear like boots and closed shoes, among others which will allow her to have more variety in products thus improving income to continue striving daily towards making her greatest dream a reality: “To obtain the deed on her house.”

Gladys es una joven muy empeñosa y entusiasta, es madre soltera y saca adelanta a su pequeño hijo de 9 años, al cual ama muchísimo y es su razón de vivir y salir adelante, su vivienda se ubica en la ciudad de Nazca, ciudad que se caracteriza por tener uno de los atractivos turísticos más importantes de nuestro país el cual son las líneas de Nazca, son dibujos de gran tamaño en medio de un campo extenso de tierra árida, el cual según algunos estudios era n utilizados como un tipo de calendario por la cultura Nazca, asimismo esta ciudad es conocida por la amabilidad y generosidad de sus pobladores. Cuando Dispone de un tiempo libre a Gladys le gusta ver televisión en especial ver las novelas y también le encanta disfrutar de uno de sus platillos favoritos el cual es el riquísimo “arroz con Pollo”.

Con mucho esfuerzo y ahorro Gladys inicio su negocio de venta de calzado para damas, ella le dedica a su negocio alrededor de 12 horas diarias y puede atender hasta 10 clientes en el día, ella cree que le va bien en su negocio porque es responsable y constante en su trabajo.

Gladys está muy agradecida con los prestatarios Kiva ya que gracias a la ayuda que le han brindado, ella podrá comprar calzado de estación de invierno como botas, zapatos cerrados, entre otros; lo que le permitirá tener mayor variedad de productos y mejorar sus ingresos y así seguir luchando cada día para poder realizar su más grande sueño:” “Obtener el Título de propiedad de su vivienda”.
