This is 45 year old Alpha. He is married, and has 3 children aged 18, 15 and 8 years. He has 2 additional dependents living with him. In 1997, Alpha established his Carpentry business after he has been trained as a carpenter. He began this business because he wanted to be self employed and provide livelihood for his family. Working 7 days a week and 11 hours a day, he earns about Le 1,000,000 every month from this business. He would like a loan in the amount of Le 4,000,000. Alpha requires a loan in order to produce more furniture to be put on sale. In the future, Alpha plans to establish more work-shops in other areas and to train more boys as apprentice.
