Maimouna is a 43-year-old woman who is married and has a family. She has been involved in retail business for more than thirty years already, having started at a very young age.
This is her third loan with UIMCEC and she is counting on this renewed loan to buy some goods and to meet the needs of her customers. With her loan, she will buy fabrics, shoes and jewelry, which she will resell in her neighborhood.
Maimouna has no expenses and works in order to diversify products and services. Her goal is to provide comfortable living conditions to her family.
Madame Maimouna est une dame âgée de 43 ans, mariée et mère de famille. Elle s’active dans le commerce depuis plus de 30 ans maintenant, car elle a démarré dès l’âge très jeune.
Elle est à son 3ème crédit à l’IMCEC et aimerait avoir un renouvellement pour acheter de la marchandise et satisfaire sa clientèle. Avec le crédit, elle va se procurer des tissus, des chaussures et des bijoux qu’elle va revendre dans le voisinage.
Maimouna n’a pas de charges et travaille pour diversifier les produits et services. Et cela, elle le fait pour vivre elle et son foyer dans le confort.
This loan is administered by UIMCEC, a Kiva Field Partner in Senegal since 2008. UIMCEC is a government-regulated microfinance institution whose mission is to improve the revenue and well-being of families through access to financial services, allowing principally women and young adult micro-entrepreneurs living in rural and semi-rural areas to develop their revenue-generating businesses and supporting them in becoming financially self-sufficient.
