Saun, 59, is widowed and resides with four children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia.
She has been involved in breeding pigs for over ten years, earning approximately USD 4 per day. Three of her children are employed. They are construction and garment workers. They earn about USD 11 per day.
In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Saun is requesting a loan of USD 500 to purchase piglets to breed in order to sell when they gain weight.
In the future, she would like to expand her business and rebuild her present house to make it bigger and more convenient for her family.
