Savoeurn, 38, is married and resides with her husband and four children in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been running a business providing make up services and costumes for wedding ceremonies for over ten years, earning approximately US $15 per day. Her husband is also a photographer who earns about US $5 per day. Two of Savoeurn's children are employed in a garment factory, earning approximately US $5 per day.
In order to improve her business, Savoeurn is requesting a loan of US $1,500 to purchase more cosmetics and costumes to use in her business. This purchase would enable her to provide new and fashionable clothes to her clients.
In the future, Savoeurn would like to expand her business and help her children get bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it more convenient for her family’s living conditions.
