Yoeury, 59, is married, resides with her husband and four children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been involved in agricultural business for over twenty years, have an extensive experience and are successful in their career. They are involved in growing rice, vegetables and fattening up cattle. Approximately, they earn USD 10 per day. One of her children is employed in a hotel and earns about USD 5 per day.
Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Yoeury is requesting a loan of USD 1000 to purchase a motorbike to commute. This purchase would enable her to use the saved money on her transportation expenses to support the family.
In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children get bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she plans to rebuild her present house to make it bigger and stronger to provide better living condition for the family.
