Sam Art, 53, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been involved in an agricultural business for over ten years, have an extensive experience, and are successful in their career. They are involved in growing agricultural crops and fattening up cattle. Additionally, her husband is a gardener. They earn approximately US $8 per day.
Due to lack of funds, Sam Art is requesting a loan of US $1,000 to purchase bean seeds and fertilizer. By doing so, she will be able to make more profit to support her family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children get bachelor's degrees in agriculture. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it bigger and more suitable for her family’s living conditions.
