Lorn, 51, is married and resides with her husband and four children in Kampot Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been involved in an agricultural business for over twenty years, have extensive experience, and are successful in their career. They are involved in growing agricultural crops and fattening up cattle. Approximately, they earn USD 4 per day. Three of their children are garment workers. They earn about USD 12 per day.
Due to difficulty with the family’s transportation, Lorn is requesting a loan of USD 1100 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase would enable her to reduce her transportation expenses. In the future, she would like to expand her business and rebuild her present house to make it more comfortable for her family to live in.
