Sareith, 31, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been working in rubber plantation for over two years, earning approximately USD 11 per day. Due to the difficulty in the family’s transportation, Sareith is requesting a loan of USD 1200 to purchase a motorbike to commute.
This purchase would enable her to use the saved money on her transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to run an additional business to earn extra income to support the family. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her house to make it bigger and stronger to provide better living conditions for the family and help her children get bachelor’s degrees.
