Savon, 39, is married and resides with her husband and one child in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has been selling vegetables for over two years, earning approximately USD 3 per day. Her husband is a soldier who earns about USD 3 per day. Since the land in the village next to her house is cheap, Savon requests a loan of USD 1000 to purchase land in order to resell it for a profitable price. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her child get a Bachelor’s degree.
