Mao, 34, is married, resides with her husband and two children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been working in a rubber plantation for over two years, earning approximately USD 5 per day. In order to improve her family’s economy, Mao wants to run an additional business. Therefore, she is asking for a loan of USD 1300 to pay for potato cultivation. This money will help her to acquire the security to start an agricultural business.
In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children get Bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it more comfortable for her family’s living.
