Im, 42, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She is a homemaker. Her husband is a construction worker who earns about USD 8 per day. One of her children is employed in a garment factory and earns approximately USD 3 per day.
In order to improve her husband’s business, Im is requesting a loan of USD 600 to purchase construction equipment for her husband to use in his business. This purchase would enable her husband to have enough equipment to use in his construction work. In the future, she would like to rebuild her present house to make it stronger and to provide better living conditions for her family, and help her children get bachelor’s degrees.
