Ashot is a 38-year-old retailer in Yerevan. He rents a little shop where he trades in food. Ashot has participated in the Artsakh war in the mid 90s, during which he injured his leg, which was amputated.
After the war Ashot decided to start his business to provide a stable source of income for his family: his wife and two children. Ashot's wife helps him with the business.
Ashot has applied for this loan to add some new inventory in his shop and increase the sales. With the loan's help he plans to purchase more food items to sell. This will help Ashot to increase his working capital and develop his business further.
