Sey, 58, is married and resides with her husband and four children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in growing maize and other agricultural crops for over twenty years, earning approximately USD 3 per day. Her husband is a construction worker who approximately earns USD 3 per day. One of her children is a construction worker as well. He earns about USD 4 per day.
Due to the difficulty of the family’s transportation, Sey is requesting a loan of USD 1000 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase would enable her to use the money saved on her transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to run a grocery store at home and help her children get Bachelor’s degree.
