Oscar has been working for about 15 years doing tailoring jobs; he makes men’s clothes like pants, suits, shorts, etc. and he also repairs clothes. Occasionally he also works doing welding and car repairs. He started the tailor shop with his own initiative and with his own efforts.

The need to earn sufficient income for his home has led him to start yet another business: a grocery store to sell basic staple items like basic grains, soft-drinks, meat, sugar, salt, etc. that he’s asking ODEF for a 10000 lempira loan for. This is his third loan request.

His wife will help him with the grocery store. The plan is to increase sales and family income.

Oscar, de 31 años de edad, casado, tiene 3 hijos de 3, 9 y 10 años de edad, vive en una aldea de Choloma, Cortes junto a su familia.
Oscar, tiene aproximadamente 15 años de dedicarse a realizar trabajos de sastrería donde elabora prendas de vestir para hombre como ser: pantalones, trajes, short etc y reparaciones de ropa. Eventualmente realiza trabajos de soldadura y mecánica automotriz. Este negocio de sastrería lo inicio con su propia iniciativa y esfuerzos propios.
La necesidad de obtener ingresos suficientes para el hogar ha decidido iniciar otro negocio de pulpería para vender productos comestibles de la canasta básica familiar como ser: granos básicos, refrescos, carnes, azúcar, sal etc. para el cual está solicitando a ODEF un préstamo de 10,000.00 Lempiras. Este es su tercer préstamo solicitado. Su esposa le ayudara con la pulperia. El plan es incrementar las ventas y sus ingresos familiares.
