Hafswa is a twenty-eight-year-old married woman who owns a house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and clothing.
For the past two years, she has operated a business selling food from home to her neighbours and passersby. She faces a major challenge of competition from other food operators in the area. Hafswa dreams of expanding and employing more employees in the future.
With the KES 20,000 she wants to purchase bundles of wheat flour, sugar and rice. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
