Moses is a resident and a farmer in the Kitale area of Western Kenya. He has been in active in farming for over seventeen years. He is age thirty-eight and married with six children between the ages of sixteen and two years.
Moses has made a loan request amounting to 41,600 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to buy and insure a dairy cow. He is optimistic he will be able to meet his family's basic needs and educate the children with his farming income.
Moses says the major challenge in farming for the residents is the poor roads network which delays delivery of produce to the markets.
