Alba Luz
Alba is 43 years old and a single mother. She lives with her three children in their house located in a small village of San Lorenzo, Valle in southern Honduras. She has worked for more than 20 years producing and selling bread, donuts, quesadillas, and pineapple cakes. She travels from her community every day Monday through Saturday to the market in San Lorenzo to sell her products.

With the investment from the loan she aspires to move forward with her business. She is already very happy because with these loans she is buying material to build her own house, as she has rented with her family for her entire life. Alba hopes that in the coming years she will be able to build her own house and that her children will have a place to live.

La señora Alba de 43 años de edad, es madre soltera, vive con sus tres hijos en su casa ubicada en una aldea de San Lorenzo, Valle al sur de Honduras, dedicándose por mas de 20 años a la elaboración y venta de pan, rosquillas, quesadillas y pasteles de piña, su venta es ambulante viaja desde su comunidad todo los días de lunes a sábado al mercado de San Lorenzo a vender sus productos.
Doña Alba esta solicitando 10,000.00 para compra de leña, maíz, azúcar, compra de latas, y la reparación de la galera donde cocina el pan, con la inversión del préstamo pretende salir adelante en su negocio ya que esta muy contenta porque a través de estos prestamos esta comprando los materiales para hacer su propia casa ya que durante toda su vida a rentando con su familia.
Doña Alba sueña que para los próximos años pueda hacer su propia casa y que sus hijos tengan un lugar donde vivir.
