Serbaa is a 32-year-old businessman who lives in Juba. He is married with three children between the ages of one and 10. Two of his children go to school. For the past seven years, Serbaa has run a business selling utensils. He has one employee and his business is his sole income source. His major business challenge includes importing utensils to South Sudan as his new nation does not have a utensil factory. Serbaa heard about Finance South Sudan from a radio advertisement as well as seeing marketing and promotion materials produced by loan officers.
Serbaa is requesting a 1,500 SDG loan to purchase more items such as glass plates and cups, spoons, and other products. In five years time, he hopes to build a house and open another shop so that he will have two locations. Serbaa says that he has a lot of appreciation for Finance South Sudan for supporting him and providing additional capital for his business.
