La Paix Group's story

LA PAIX is a group made up of four people who all live in the same neighborhood. The group's leader, Pélagie, is 39 years old. She has her hand raised in the photo. Pélagie is married to a retailer named Adolphe. The couple has two children. Both of them go to school and are in their care. Pélagie lives with her husband and children. She and her husband are both responsible for meeting the household's various expenses. Pélagie did not go to school.

In order to meet her expenses, for the last ten years or so Pélagie has been selling grains and canned food in Benin. Pélagie obtains her supplies in a town in Benin. With the goal of satisfying her growing number of customers, and making more profit, Pélagie and the other members of LA PAIX are asking ALIDé for a third loan. The previous loans have all been fully repaid.
