Mediko produces cheese and sells products to local dairy retailers. They owns 1.5 hectare land where wheat, cabbage and tomatoes are grown. Harvested products are sold locally to green grocery products retailers. Their average monthly income is 650 Laris.
Mediko requested credit to finance seasonal agricultural works. Mediko and Omar will purchase fuel for their tractor to till the land. Also credit will be used to purchase vegetable seeds, fertilizers and drugs for treating the plants from parasites. They hope that the weather conditions will be favorable as well and the family will get a good harvest this summer. They will sell the harvest through already known distribution channels and generate income, part of which will be reinvested in the business and the other part will be used to fund their family's daily needs.
