DJROMAHUTON 13 is a group consisting of three people who are all friends and live in the same neighborhood. The leader of the group is called Kowadinou Marcelline and is 38 years old (she is raising her hand in the photo). Kouwadinou Marcelline is married to Bruno. The couple has one child who attends school in their care. Kouwadinou Marcelline lives with her child and her husband and covers the household expenses together with her husband. Kouwadinou Marcelline has very little schooling, but learned hairdressing, an activity that she has pursued with passion for around twelve years and that allows her to contribute to the household expenses. Besides this activity, Marcelline Kouwadinou sells hair extensions and lubricants from her workshop. Marcelline Kouwadinou gets her supplies in Benin. In order to better meet the growing number of customer demands and to increase her profits, Kouwadinou Marcelline is requesting, together with the other members of the group DJROMAHUTON 13, a third loan from ALIDé. All previous loans have been repaid.

DJROMAHUTON 13 est un groupe composé de trois personnes qui sont des amies et qui résident dans le même quartier. La représentante du groupe du nom de Kouwadinou Marcelline (dont la main est levée sur la photo), est âgé de 38 ans. Kouwadinou Marcelline est mariée à un certain Bruno. Le couple a un enfant scolarisé et à leur charge.Kouwadinou Marcelline vit ensemble avec son enfant et son mari et assure ensemble avec son mari les charges de la maison. Kouwadinou Marcelline a très peu fréquenté l’école, mais a appris la coiffure, une activité qu'elle mène passionnément depuis une dizaine d'année et qui lui permet de contribuer aux dépenses du ménage. Parallèlement à cette activité, Kouwadinou Marcelline vend des mèches et des lubrifiants dans son atelier. Kouwadinou Marcelline s’approvisionne au Bénin. Dans le but de mieux répondre aux exigences de sa clientèle de plus en plus nombreuses et de se faire plus de profit, Kouwadinou Marcelline sollicite, ensemble avec les autres membres du groupe DJROMAHUTON 13 un troisième crédit auprès de ALIDé. Les crédits reçus antérieurement ont été bien remboursés.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000.
