Saumu is a 35-year-old married woman with two children. For the past three years, she has operated a fish-selling business from home. Saumu's primary customers are villagers. Saumu's other source of income includes husband's income and her greatest business challenge is seasonality. Saumu lives in a house without electricity or running water and her greatest monthly expense is food. She joined Yehu because of its loan products and policies.
Saumu is requesting a 10,000 KES loan to buy bundles of fish. In the future, she aspires to open a seafood shop.
