Von, 43, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been involved in growing agricultural crops and breeding pigs for over five years, earning approximately USD 8 per day. Two of her children are employed in the garment factory. They earn approximately USD 10 per day. In order to improve her family’s living conditions, Von is requesting a loan of USD 1,500 to purchase fodder for breeding her pigs. In the future, she would like to expand her pig farm and help her children get bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it bigger and stronger to provide convenient living conditions for the family.
