Paulina
Paulina is a humble, 45-year-old woman who lives with Máximo, her companion of 25 years. They have 4 children who live with them in their house in Pampas. She has 5 cows which produce milk that she makes into cheese and sells in the capital. Since she also buys milk products which can not be stored from other people in the capital, she travels constantly. In addtion, her husband cultivates ulluco, potatoes, barley, and yuyo (herbs that are consumed in the mountainous areas of the country).

She says that in her free time when she is not working, she travels to Pamuri, where she and her husband plant crops. “We work together, and though we do different activities, we both work in the fields," she states. Her husband also builds houses and when there are many construction contracts, it is Paulina who is responsible for the crops. Through their joint work and effort, they managed to buy a small house. Their goal is to finish air conditioning it so that they can live there.

This is her 15th loan cycle with MFP. She is happy to have the necessary capital to increase her business and her quality of life. She also likes belonging to the association because the members are caring, hardworking people. On receiving the loan, Paulina will invest the money in windows, paint, and other materials to refurbish her house.
