Growing up in Argentina, Ruben has had a love for the arts all of his life. When he came to the United States, he wanted to continue to expand his love by setting up a network where artist of all kinds could meet and perform. At first, this began as a hobby, but as it grew in popularity, Ruben decided to turn it into a formal business.
Two years ago, he founded the New York City Business Club as a public relations business focused on producing musical performances and theater pieces. Ruben concentrates on bringing artist from various fields together and works to give them mass public exposure. At this time, he is hosting an initiative to bring Latin American performers to New York City stages.
Ruben currently rents all of his equipment to produce shows. However, as he puts on more performances, the cost of rent does not make sense. He would like to purchase equipment such as sound equipment and lighting equipment for his company to use. He would also like to use this loan to start a marketing campaign to further promote the artists.
