George is 33 years old. He lives in the village, Ikalto, East Georgia, with his mother and two sisters (26 and 38 years old). His mother is a housewife. George’s young sister works as teacher in the village. His elder sister knits woolen shirts and sells them in the village. George is leading the agricultural business of the family. He has 3 milk cows and 2 pigs in family owned farm. George produces cheese and sells it to local dairy product retailers. Also, he sells piglets in the village. Total average monthly income of the family is 1200 Laris.
George has requested credit for purchasing calfs. He will raise them for 5 months and sell them in late summer for higher prices. The income of the family will increase. George will use part of the increased income for further development of family farm and the other part will be used for purchasing needed household goods, which will improve the living conditions of the family.
