Mon, 63, is married and resides with her husband and one child in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia. She has been selling groceries for over three years, earning approximately USD 20 per day. Her husband is a carpenter who approximately earns USD 10 per day. In order to improve her family’s economy, Mon is requesting for a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase rice to resell to generate more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and build a bathroom.
