D’ abord, il s’active dans le commerce de produits alimentaires divers dans une boutique, ensuite il évolue dans l’animation des cérémonies et enfin s’active aussi dans la maçonnerie. Il a une expérience de 02 ans dans ses activités. Mamadou Lamara veut diversifier ses sources de revenus, raison pour laquelle il a choisi toutes ces activités. Ce qui l’intéresse le plus ce sont les revenus que lui génèrent ses activités. Il est membre du guichet de l’U-IMCEC de la localité ou il exerce ses activités depuis aout 2008. Il sollicite un crédit de 250 000 frs prévu pour l’achat de produits alimentaires qu’il va commercialiser, il souhaite renforcer le stock de la boutique qu’il vient d’acquérir.
